This project was my first real venture into 3D rendering and compositing, as my usual work involves exporting straight to game engines. The goal of this project was to create 2 renders with different themes, in this case 'Old & Battered' and 'Neon'. I chose contrasting themes to show the difference lighting and atmosphere can make on the same model.
The skull model is game-ready, but I subdivided some parts for the renders.
The model was sculpted and retopologised in Blender and textured in Substance Painter. Some basic Compositing was done in Blender before I brought the renders into Nuke for some more fine tuning.
